Cost to Join SAE

As a parent, one of the first questions you ask is how much does it cost to join a fraternity, especially SAE. The most current fees for all fraternities and sororities is posted here by Greek Life. You will see that SAE compares favorably with the costs of other fraternities.

As a summary, we charge your son the following:

Social Dues 2011/2012	$700 per semester
Housing/Meal Plan (residence in the house)	$3,800 per semester
Meal Plan (off campus)	$1,350 per semester
Pledge Social Fee - First Semester	$605 per semester
Summer Dues	$150 per member
Room Deposit (in the house)	$250 per member

We use a company called Omega Financial which provides both the billing and collection of the social fees, including any fines or other assessments the chapter agrees on. You will get a bill by direct mail prior to each semester which allows you to pay by check or debit/credit card. You also have a profile accessible by internet that you can review of your son's bill.

There is a room deposit each semester of $250 which is included in your bill. This will be refunded as long as there is no damage to the room.

Mothers of Minerva

This is a group comprised of the mothers of our active chapter.

The primary contribution the Minerva Club makes is the annual Spring Mother Sons Weekend where they plan a silent auction, dinner, shopping, and time with each other.
